I want to personally thank all the really good OSU posters who came to TF and opened up some lively and intelligent debate. Winslow, incredible job with the pics, thanks for your great efforts Buckeye78, quality poster, and he's even a contributor now! Even people like Pheasant who didn't like much of what I had to say in my prognosticating, still offered perspective from "the other side". Much appreciated, you guys are definitely welcome anytime Now go make Rich Rodriguez your bitch!
The Buckeye fans I met and talked to in person in New Orleans before AND after the game are world class. Those people can party and cheer and be gracious right along with the best of LSU fans. I wish we could do it again next year in Miami, wow wouldn't that piss some people off! Go Bucks and GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!:tigereye: :geaux:
I would like to add to this what great fans they were in New Orleans. They were friendly, down to earth people. Many were having a great time in New Orleans even after the game. One guy in the airport told me that it was more important for them to beat MI than to win the NC. I guess we are lucky to not have a rival like that. I think the Ohio fans were much nicer than the Okla fans. They didn't seem to have that chip on their shoulder. Of course there are drunks in every crowd, and I saw a little bit of that on both sides. Congrats to the Ohio fans. They have a great program. I do not think their team was overrated, they just caught a completely healthy Tiger squad that showed the Big 10 champs, the ACC champs, and the SEC East champs what LSU is all about! We are the best! Forever LSU!!!!!!!!
I was not able to be at the game in person, but the fans here are top notch and 78 by contributing when some of our own won't shows the dedication he has to his team and college football talk overall! Congrats fans of college football! We should all be proud! It is the best out there! On that note I feel I just losy my boyfriend...it is over again!
Thanks a bunch for the thank you note. I've always been a fan of the way LSU played football, and several LSU players in the professional leagues (Alan Faneca and Warren Morris mainly). And, the fans who came to BP have been very, very nice to listen to.
Ditto on that, these guys have been top notch all the way. I've enjoyed them sharing their insight about the Tigers and the perspective they have as Buckeye fans. They're good people.
