Special teams was simply abysmal

    The onside kick was almost another failure after O refused to build a lead.

    We got uber conservative during the 4th and goal, but other than that give Auburn credit. They did a great job pressuring Burrow and covering receivers. Their D is legit. The muffed punt also gave Auburn great field position.

    Yep should have mentioned that too, terrible execution on our part and we just got lucky to get the ball.

    I'd have to go back and look at replay, but my nephew said when Stingley caught the punt one knee was touching the ground. Is that true?

    It touched briefly as the ball was coming into his arms but he came up just as quickly and at the moment of securing the catch his knee was off of the ground. Let’s put it this way, had he taken it for a TD and was called down, everyone would be screaming the opposite.

    I don’t think so. His knee was touching just before he went to catch it. I’m not sure he ever had possession. Regardless it was up by the time he may have.
