Not sure if anyone is aware of this site but if you like recruting and keeping up with the various camps and combines this is a good place to do so. There was a Nike Combine in BR on January 20th at Dutchtown HS. The results of that combine and the ratings for each player can be seen at the site. If you look at the results from various camps and combines in LA last year you can also see how some of our signee's performed. All of them were rated quite high in the Sparq ratings. Interesting site with good info on recruits. http://sparqtraining.com/ratings/ratings_events.php Another interesting result of these camps is related to Chad Jones and baseball. If you look at the results from this event you will see he was the 3rd highest rated baseball player there. More importantly, his score rates him in the top 10-20 players from all their events nationwide over the whole year. This one in North Carolina typically draws all the pro baseball scouts and is one if their premier camps for evaluating players in the eastern US. If the results from this camp are any indication of Chad's baseball prospects I would say he is looking really good for a high draft spot. Not great news for LSU but of course good for Chad. http://sparqtraining.com/ratings/name_location.php?event_id=142&sport=baseball
I've only heard of those recently but was told they guarantee quicker times if the regiment is followed. Have a qb prospect who runs a 4.6 and DD suggested trying to get that time down a little to help his status, and another friend informed me about the sparq clinics. Thanks for sharing. :thumb:
I noticed there is a Wparq comparison percentile. For example, a QB has a 67.6 sparq rating which carries a 99% comparison. Does that mean he is in the top 1% of QBs or all those at the camp? I just want to make sure I understand what I am seeing.
I dont know about the comparison percentile thing. I havent looked at it that close. I know football scores above 80 are good and almost all our recruits were well above 80 during last years camps/combines. In baseball above 80 is REALLY good. Not that many players had scores above 80. Chads was like 83 something. I dont think there was more than 10-20 that had scores above 80 in all the camps combined.
