They have a no fly list, why can they not have a no buy list? Of course this doesn't address an on the street sale but if he were ever stopped and found to be in possession he goes to jail. I'd say mandatory treatment as well. Just sedate them until they turn into a squash. Problem solved.
theres evil in some people. nothing will change that or prevent shit from happening when they decide to kill a gaggle of innocents. sure you can change laws after each emotional event but in the end, its not going to change any numbers in the long run. but like the confederate flag thing, it may make you feel better.
you wouldnt admit that its harder for the general public to make a bomb or kill a dozen people with knifes that with an ar15?
not women and thats over half the population. or mexicans. they have to be a third of the united states.
I agree with all of this. Taking Hamilton, of all people, off of the currency is ludicrous. I agree that Tubman would be my pick for a female to appear on currency. Take Jackson off the $20 imo.
Jackson was the hero of The Battle of New Orleans. Put a woman on the $100. They end up with most of them anyway
Ive already spoken on unity, im talking about heritage here and those are my thoughts on it. Yes culpable, those ancestors made those decisions. My grandfather lied about his age at 16 to join the army, fought in WWII and found himself doing some combat and mostly picking up bodies on the beach during the invasion. If he decided to go to war for the confederate, id question his decision making. Its not an overreaction at all, you have said nothing to address what i said about heritage.
Then be more specific and I will. My confederate great grandfathers were privates, drafted by their countries, both of them. They were good men, both of them. I never knew them but my father did. If one must disrespect my ancestors to feel better, it is not my problem. My concern here is not about anybody's "heritage" anyway. It is about disrespect for history in overreaction to a hate crime. The CSA existed and attempts to erase all traces of it are misdirected. Painting Confederate veterans as somehow responsible for today's kooks and their mindless hate is absurd to me.
but when did i do any of that. again I have already said pulling a flag down wont change the past. secondly, republicans and or defenders of this flag are calling for it to be taken down. So they must be overreacting as well. Im not disrespecting anyone. If they were drafted, then so be it. They had less of a choice then I realize. Doesnt mean I have to respect their service in the CSA army. I wont debate if they were good men, possibly, but on the wrong side of the fight imo.
