Not gonna see a lot of people around here excited about a 24-21 squeaker. I would venture to say LSU has little chance of beating either GA or Bama if that ends up being the score.
I don't want to predict a score, but I think we'll see better execution on both sides of the ball. I particularly expect a fine performance from the O line and good success running the ball - especially if CS gets the bulk of the carries. These men will want to make a statement, and I hope it's a bold one!
so, the outcome of the uga and bama game depends on how badly we beat S.C.? remember...bama and uga come to tiger stadium. +7 pts for us because of the crowd. we will NOT lose to bama and uga.
I'm going to put the SC offense between the Miss State and Florida Offenses. They'll score 28-35 if our defense didn't do any soul-searching. We should score between 31 and 41 if we get the ground game going. So yes, I'm saying there's a chance we'll lose 35-31, but there's just as much chance in my mind that we'll win 41-28. It depends on what has been done to fix the problems we have and how much fire this team has found in the loss. Of course, I'm hoping for the latter score...or any score that puts LSU ahead of SC, for that matter.
Does nobody take comfort in Miles ability to put his foot up his players/coaches butts? I do, and I think we will see a different team this weekend. Not perfect, but a much more mentally prepared team. I also have to wonder if USC's players might not be a little comforted by seeing us get taken to the woodshed. We certainly look beatable, don't we?
That could definitely play into the psyche of the USC players. I really believe that our players looked at the Ole Miss loss by Florida and didn't take them as seriously as they would've if the Gators had been undefeated.
