i get the feeling vick wont plea because of this 'gambling across state lines' could be banishment for life if goodell wishes. the yr or two for dog abuse is probably the least of his lawyer's worries at this point. maybe vick wants a guarantee he will be allowed back before he pleas but i cant see the commish granting that. he has no incentive to do so. arena league here vick comes once he serves his time.
Why would he make any arrangement if the State of Va. is promising to come after him once the Feds are finished? It would just make their case more compelling. What little leverage he has would be completely gone. I think he is well aware that the days of large paychecks are gone forever.
