Not hardly. You haven't even risen to a proper debate. You stole a copyrighted recording if you duplicated it and shared it with someone. That is something entirely different. We are legally entitled to backup copies of electronic media for our personal use. You break the law if you distribute a copy of a copyrighted recording to a third party. This is not "sharing", it is "duplicating" and piracy.
