It worked for Roberto Alomar. He's in the hall of fame. Pete Rose isn't in the Hall because he bet on baseball/lied about it, but Alomar spits in another man's face (an umpire at that!) and he's rewarded by the hall of fame? disgusting. The umpire should be in the hall of fame for not picking up Alomar's bat and beating the life out of him.
I've logged approx one thousand hours of LSU tailgating. Includes home games, SEC road games, OOC road games and bowls games. In all of that time I have not witnessed a single instance of someone being spit on.
Probably another attempt by the media and jealous opposing fans to tarnish the name of LSU. Just as the greyshirt and oversigning attacks by espn on clm.
You are right, they are not true Tiger Fans. True Tiger fans know how to have fun, even some friendly ribbing on game day, but would never stoop to spitting on anyone. I know if I ever see something like that, I don't care what colors they are wearing, I would have to intervene. True Tigers have class.....I don't who they ran across to have such a bad experience.
LOL>...my favorite quote is the one that said "it's the SEC....since they are just one school with 12 intramural teams"....LOL...you belive that???? The big twelve saying that the sec is ONE team dominant??? Thats hilarious!!
I've been to my share of games and I work the student section. We have many opposing fans that wind up with the students and while some of them do get a obnoxious (at that point I'll step in and defuse) I haven't seen anyone spit on. Ever. A fight just one time and that was when an Ole Miss fan taunted for 3 quarters, and after numerous warnings from marshals about what was coming, before those around him had had enough. I've works games for 8 years now and have never witnessed have the stuff that has been said happens at every game and on numerous occasions.
