This doesn't surprise me. A lot of OU fans believe that they're entitled because of the school's prestige and history of winning. The only difference between Choklahoma and Michigan is Bob Stoops. I actually had no idea that they hated us. I guess getting an ass whoopin in 04 upset them but I can certainly believe that a bunch of drunk bandwagon yats can be offputting. We should schedule a home and home with them. I bet their tune would change.
I remember reading that we did just that not long after the 2003 NC. Supposedly was scheduled for 2007 or something like that. Don't know whatever happened to that. . .

Speaking of. . .it must also suck to have a band that only knows ONE freaking song. They're just a notch behind SC, whose bands knows a whole TWO songs. I seriously can't watch either team play because hearing the same one or two songs over and over and over and over and over and over and over just drives me frickin' insane.

yeah, they do. trust me. the thing is, the ones that are pissy are the ones that cant handle "tiger bait". i cannot tell you how many people i have met who were at the nc game in nola that froth at the mouth at "how poorly" they were treated. abused, i tell ya. so i quiz them directly... grandma pushed down a flight of stairs? no. junior pissed on? no. well, what happened? they taunted us. insulted us. you mean they yelled "tiger bait" at you? *indignant stance* yes. really? you cant take a good natured taunt or chant? (well, if you got pissy, of course they taunted you worse. wuss.) what is even more telling is the ones that could handle "tiger bait" that i have talked to had a GREAT time. i have talked to a couple of of sooner fans (sadly, only a couple, because only a small minority of their fan base wore their big girl panties to the game) who said they had "tiger bait" yelled at them but they just laughed and shrugged it off. and as soon as they did they were invited into the tailgate they were passing at the time and offered all kinds of foood and drink. my fedex express driver still raves about how he was stuffed with food and drink before he ever got into the dome because our fans took care of him when he laughed off the tiger bait. oh, and the ones that are pissy even tho they didnt go.... just cant handle they got beat. tell me about it. i grew up hearing that insanity. my family is NOT ou fans, and it has grated on my nerves since i was a little girl. just remember. a sooner by definition is a law breaker.

Guess since it wasn't an every year game anymore the hate had waned some. That didn't affect their feelings against us though.
