Coach Miles said 11 of LSU 25 seniors have already graduated and all 14 of the others are expected too in the spring. Now that is something to be proud of in my opinion. Student athletes has a great ring to it.
Thats awesome, that "IS" something to be very proud of! :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
What I really liked was that he said about recruits coming in need to be ready to go to class and play football. Mistakes were made by former coaches in that they recruited players who were not disciplined enough to do the things it takes to be successfull. Let's hope Miles keeps recruiting great athletes who have high charactor. like he's been doing.
Says 14 are "expected to". Big difference between that and "will". Long time tween now and spring. I'm sure most schools won't be enthusiastically publishing the number who never actually make it.
I read over at Tidefans that Joe Namath is getting his degree, 40 years later. My hats off to him, fer gittin er done!
Okay, let me see if I can put this in girly terms for ya.......oh yeah, here ya go. When ladies are "Expecting" babies, chances are....they will deliver.
Yeah, it was a nice bonus when I was at the PMAC on friday to see my fiancee graduate, I was also able to celebrate Pittman, Highsmith and Flynn's graduation, and the crowd gave them some good cheers.
