Oh. So the records reflect poor coaching.

    Thanks for the info.

Listen, I would not change out our D and STs for a better O, but that doesn't mean our O shouldn't/couldn't be better. PSU is simply trying to compare and contrast O's that have been more successful against common opponents. It's not that far fetched of a topic. Why would we not want to improve our offense just b/c our D and STs are so good, and the outcomes of those particular games were better than the team compared to? ALA has a D just as good, if not better, than ours, and their O is light years ahead of ours w/o being a gimmicky, spread type offense. While we win, our O is just so frustrating to watch. We could be and should be much smoother. It can't be as hard as we make it. I can't imagine how horrible our O would be if we didn't have the talent level we have.

no, but it was clm responsibility to ensure the quarterback that came to him, the one that was on course to beat out another freshman named Aaron Murray at UGeorgia before being dismissed because of a stupid bar incident, and later played JC football one year at Butler and had 2,678 yards passing with 32 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, IS DEVELOPED! He's had 2 years with him and this is the result?

Thank God for the loads of talent LSU is able to draw, we can overcome a lot of obstacles...like CLM offensive genius. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt CLM is a good man, coach and leader, but as with all top CEOs, he needs to know his limitations and leave the rest to better qualified employees. Being one of the top programs in the country, LSU could attract some of the best young O coordinators. Hell, Saban has Kirby Smart as his D coordinator even though D is Saban's specialty and I don't hear Smart begging for more power or looking for other jobs...he's apparently got a pretty good thing going because he could be a head coach at other major colleges, I'm sure.

Actually Smart is on record as to saying he wants to be a HC. He just isn't going to leave Bama for a bad job. I actually was telling my Arkansas friends that they should go after him, he brings a pedigree of defensive caliber, and would immediately attract good defensive recruits.

"Arkansas" and "friends" used in one sentence. You are making progress, man. The therapy must be effective, lol.

Read my posts, read my posts! Three, two, and one year ago. Absolutely the answer! Or at least an answer.
