No, you are just really terrible at staying on topic. This thread was about how LaTech and ULM manage to have better QBs and offenses (neither of which include the defense) than LSU and whether or not you would rather have the QBs or offensive philosophy of either LaTech or ULM. This thread was not about Texas A&M's QB or defense whatsoever.

It's not hard to understand. If you can't stay on topic, you're welcome to leave the thread.

That's really nice and everything, but...Louisiana Tech just lost to A & M, and we beat them.

All things considered, I would take ALL of LSU's team and deal with substandard QB play over improved QB play and lesser production at other positions.

I realize that if we put a good QB on our team that we are stronger than we are. But that's not what we have. What we DO have seems to be a tenacious team. I'll take that.

Having a better QB should not result in lesser production in defense (which would be the only part to really worry about). I'm just saying if having a better QB and offense means you are 8-0 instead of 7-1, then I'd probably take it.

You don't really understand the dynamics of team building do you. Small schools with less talent have to take a big risk big reward approach. That is where the spread and other innovative offenses come from. When they play teams of equal or less talent they do well. How ever there is a certainty that for 1 or more games sand will get in the works or the works will be smashed by a better team and the offense will look like shyte.

A team with superior talent does not need to take such risk. There is not enough difference in the reward to justify the risk of turnovers. LSU, Alabama and other historically strong teams all play similar games. There are variations in approach and in ability to call plays that work. Could LSU have better performance? Of course but to ask they adapt the high risk game would work to their detriment.

I understand and appreciate all of that. I suppose my point is that all of these teams that have "good" quarterbacks have glaring deficiencies in other key areas in which we do NOT have glaring deficiencies.

We need to find out Bama's deficiencies and exploit them. They have some--all teams do.

Being that Latech and ULM would struggle to score on most every GOOD TEAM in the SEC, YOU HAVE NO POINT.

    Seriously..

Can you understand this? Why would I want a style of O that can't beat a team we just beat?????

    Does your brain work?

Something a that boggles my mind is the Chizz losing with all that talent.

I thought talent could win despite poor coaching.

don't know how chizik got that auburn position. his only other head coaching experience was with iowa state where he was 5-19 in 2 years. other than the undefeated season with cam he's had 2 8-5 records and now 1-5 so far this year.
