And Mushchamp is doing what, undefeated? Miles has won a championship, 2 SEC championships, 3 SEC west titles, you could bring up the whole winning with Saban's players stupid argument, but you damn sure better use the same tired ass argument with Muschamp and Meyer. And Dooley is not doing anything.

And Miles is doing what? If you love Saban so much go root for crimson.

clm is the ceo. it's his job to ensure the development of raw talent through the people he hires. up to now, he has failed miserably at ensuring raw but talented qbs are further developed to compete at the top echelon of college football, imo.

But to play devil's advocate: and yet...we compete as a team at the top echelon of college football.

Therefore, Miles must be, in fact, a good CEO of LSU Football Corp.

To add to Stacey's reply, if CLM weren't the CEO, we would not have Chief and we would not have all of this raw talent that you say doesn't get developed. Raw talent that, by the way, has led CLM to the best record in D1 for the last 7 years. Yep, we should get rid of that sorry bastid.

Yes he is, but with very obvious short commings. But hey he's good at everything else so why try to improve in the areas that are lacking?

He should improve in areas where we are lacking; however, Rockwallfan was suggesting that we do not compete in the top echelon of football because Miles cannot develop a QB. I asserted that we still compete in the top echelon of college football without great QB play.

I would like it to be better, but we are so much more familiar with our own team's shortcomings that we don't always notice where other teams are lacking--which leads to blanket statements of doom and gloom.

Certainly, we are not the most complete team out there currently (I felt we were last year), but we can compete with and BEAT any team in college football on any given day. That's impressive.
