True that's why I said that, he is the only one I can think of.

Jimbo has been there how long? Already has a QB in the NFL.

Along with the development of Matt Flynn, Jarmacus Russell (Ok he took the money and ran), Rohan Davey, Matt Mauck etc.....

All did well for the Tigers in the offense he created. An offense that suited the QB and not the coach.

Saban seems smart enough to realize he is not an offensive guru. Why can't Miles not see it?

If we are talking about development, how many were developed into NFL quarterbacks? I'll give you Ponder, and Matt Flynn. Rohan was good because he had a big arm and was good at improvising, Mauck was a game manager and Russell had more raw talent than any qb I've ever seen in my life, and just couldn't do the 1 thing coaches teach qb's, the ability to read defenses. Jimbo was a good coach, but I'm not real sure what he has to do with LSU in the here and now.

It's easy. He was a coach!

We have lacked that on the offensive side sense he has left.

Josh Booty was the savior much like Mett is today. Too much hype.

Coaches always seem to go with experience. Marcus had some good games for us, so did JaMarcus, but both of them had some pretty bad games as well.

I kind of remember a blue grass miracle game. Can you name the QB?

Kind of like the pass that Mett threw? Or Lee?

Would you rather have Davey/Russell or Lee/Mett?

It is an easy answer for me, I will take Davey/Russell. Were they better? Or were they coached better?

We had a good offense in 2007, and in 2008 minus the interceptions. And 2008 is the reason for our offensive philosophy. In 2008, no RP, who would have been showcased in a Gary Crowton run offense, and could have been really awesome. Not that it would have mattered the defense sucked that year, but no one gives Miles credit for getting John Chavis, all they remember are the pick sixes, so Miles, after the LSU fanbase did a 180 on him, clamped down on the offense, started getting more conservative, slowly but surely started eliminating the spread. Going back to a traditional I formation, 2 tight ends, running, controlling the clock, short passes, set up play action, and play great defense, mentality. It's won us a lot of games, and has also limited turnovers, up until this season, but we have gotten better with each week and I'm telling you. We are going to win on the 3rd.

The key is we got Chavis!!!!!!

Miles is no more of a coach than Mack Brown. He is as good as his assistants.

Dinardo had Morris Watts and Carl Reece. Saban was a defensive guru. He developed two SEC coaches. Can you name them?

Miles is not an offensive coach!

Honest answer. We will wait and see.

I just hope that it is not to much longer. We do not have a WR over 6'2" and a stud TE.

Is it we can not recruit? or is it we have not had a decent offense for 5 years?
