To late. I pulled the trigger but only a small amount. Thanks I needed a good talking to because I figured I was missing something.
these are games i would take the other side when its so obvious one shouldnt. hard to do but you will understand after next week. glad you spared some of your kids college fund.
Well to be honest I went 2-9 last weekend. It was brutal... As someone who likes to wager (Not big money mind you I am small time) this is the craziest season already. Who would have thought Fla State would hang half a hundred on BYU after barely beating Jacksonville State. LSU covered this week (After being 1-12 ATS in Tiger Stadium) and has only covered twice in their last 25 games. But I never bet for or against LSU. To much emotion. But it was a dark Saturday for me on the wagering front. Auburn and UCLA were my only wins, and even Auburn needed a last second pick 6 to cover. So dont ever take gambling advice from me. I am apparently terrible at this
im been in an annual pool against the spread the last couple years. 100 dollars or so entry. i think i only got 6 of 15 in college. then went 11 of 15 in the pros. this has been a recurring theme the last few years. ie, im likely wrong on UW.
UW is certainly due for a letdown, but I do see them covering. Given the absolute lack of Stanfurd home field advantage due to the genteel nature of the upper crust (think crickets chirping), the Dogs stand a chance IMO.
UW will cover... I see Stanford down by atleast 10. Stanford has liuke 1 good game a year, and Locker will throw on them.
I understand the letdown, but I mean, letdown of what? They've beaten one team in the top 50 in the last 17+ games. I'm more worried about the fact that it's the first road game, and the start of 5 out of the next 7 being road games than I am of a letdown. If nothing else, Washington proved that it could beat anybody on its schedule as it stands right now. Yes, we could still lose to almost anyone on the schedule, but I'd rather go with the more positive note. Good luck in your upcoming game in a few weeks against the Jake Locker of the East (considering the arsenal that Tebow has around him, I'm calling him that unless he takes either you or Bama to the woodshed. I think if Locker and Tebow traded places Tennessee would be a crater right about now.)
I was greatly tempted to take Florida and lay the points against Tennessee. I glad I didn't I could have been homeless
