Someone help me UW +7 vs Stanford ????

So I am checking the football lines for this weekend and I see UW Huskies are GETTING 7 points against Stanford.
On place has them +9
Which means UW is a pretty big underdog to Stanford.
UW is playing on the road.

So someone please talk me out of what seems very obvious to me. Because I am about to bet the largest wager of my life on this game.

Something seems to good to be true...

What am I missing here.

 

Which means it usually is.

If I was going to bet on the game I would take UW and the points. Stanford's two wins are against pretty bad teams. Granted they put up a lot of points, but Washington St and San Jose U are not in the same caliber obviously as LSU & USC.

 

I wonder if UW can sustain the momentum. They may be due for a letdown.

 

Maybe so, which is why I had to take a step back. I was just shocked to see UW such big underdogs to Stanford.
Vegas which doesnt care about rankings, etc always seems to know better then most. For a line to be that big they must know something

 

That's a good point about momentum. That and it's their first road game after 3 at home.

If I was betting, I would still take the Huskies and the points. I would wager a normal amount whatever that might be for the bettor.

 

This could be their let down game, Stanford is on the cusp of having a decent team.

 

i was just about to say "trap game". i dunno. thats all i can think of.

 

They really haven't played anyone other than LSU.

HUGE letdown game for washington. locker and the gang will still be drunk from the emotional win last week and possibly booze.

 

yeah plus harbaugh would love to beat the team that beat SC. sark will need his boys to come down a bit. if they win, they'll do it ugly i'd suppose.
