..and now that he's at LSU, that has to give us a very solid inside track at keeping him. In a rivals interview, Jones said he got an offer from OSU before he committed to LSU, but that Miles had an in-home with him and even talked to his school. Al said he "liked him a lot there, but he just wasn't excited about Oklahoma State. It was one of those things where you wish a certain coach was at a different place." Sounds to me like he liked Miles more than Saban, but didn't want to attend OSU. He says he will keep an open mind, and visit Miami, but will be interested in hearing what coach Miles has to say. Chalk one up for the good guys!

AL Jones is one of, the very Best Defensive players in LA. He's an LSU "Soft-Verbal", hope Les can sign him.
More good news from Ciron Black: Black, a 6-foot-4, 320-pound offensive guard from Robert E. Lee High, committed to LSU and former coach Nick Saban before his senior season. He had also received recruiting interest from Oklahoma State and its head coach, Les Miles, who was chosen as Saban's successor Monday. "I love the guy," Black said of Miles. "I was down a little bit when Coach Saban left. But I am unbelievably happy now. I am still talking to Texas, but I am coming to LSU."
Miles is the man...I think it's much better to have kids knocking down your door to come to LSU because they really love the coach rather than knocking down your door because they want to play for a Saban scheme. Until the coach leaves, that is Hopefully he'll be here a while, I'm increasingly starting to believe the MIchigan job will not be offered to him. That could change of course, if he starts knocking out championships here.
