Some people are over reacting Apparently everybody forgets that this is JJs only 2nd yr Apparently everybody forgets we only have 4 returning starters. I know Unc was missing 8 starters last night but do you honestly believe that the 8 starters could have stopped Pat Pete last night bc i believe no one in the country could have stopped PP last night. I know we gave up over 400 yards last night but 180 of that was on 3 big plays including 1 frekish 97 yard play that will never happen again as our youthful but very talented secondary will learn. I was also impressed with JJ last night before we left off the gas in the 2nd half bc you can say what you want we let off the gas last night. The D line made some very good progress from what i saw last night and as far as i know none of the o line from Unc was suspended. The last thing from yesterday is that i also saw Fla struggle for a whil with Miami Ohio Ole miss lost to Jax St both teams far less talented then a couple backups from North Carolina.
me thinks that LSUfan114 is actually Les Fudd himself. the post makes as much sense as Fudd's post game interview and his rationale on why the team played so poorly. you've got to be kidding. Peterson isn't the second coming of Billy Cannon. of course 6 NFL prospects could have stopped Peterson and LSU flat got out coached again and again and again and again and again...we might as get used to it. NC was missing it's two top tailbacks, so I wouldn't go and crown our defense as stalwart just yet. And our 50 yard td pass was also a fluke - against 2nd or 3rd string defenders and wiithout three of their front four. We got lucky and deserved to lose that game and I and most feel like we did, despite the scoreboard. Thanks Coach Fudd.
