If you look, Our O seemed**** balanced for hte first 3 games, at least with rushing and passing gaining over 321 yrds a game. Also, out of those 3 games, we scored 31 twice and 23 in a wet vandy game. The next 2 games were, for the most part the same, excpet for Miss game where we only recorded 30 yrds rushing, HOWEVER, the sacks and BAD PUNT SNAP took away from ththat total. The only game were our O looked really bad is the UF game. Other than that, the stats are not that bad. THIS IS THE KEY STAT, REDZONE Out of 19 attempts, we socred 15 times, of those 15 times we scored 8 TD's and 7 FG's. 78% Our redzone is currently 42.11%<<<<<<this is very BAD! At home, LSU is 100% in redzone and 55% of that is TD's. We are also 38% of 3rd down conversions. I am going to post some cool D facts next.
Our D has broken up 30 passes so far and our opponents have broken up 15. We have had 8 QB hurries and our opponents have had 2. We have forces 4 fumbles and our oppenents have forces 6. We have gotten 4 sacks from 4 different DL men. Our opponents have had 18. >>>>LOL Our sack yrds have totaled up to a loss of 33 yrds. Our opponent sack totals up to 118 yrds. >>>>LOL AGAIN. We get .67 sacks a game and our oponets get 3. We have gotten 27 tackles for a loss and our opponents have gotten 35. Not that bad. Not bad if you think JJ is close to half of those. We have gotten 9 ints and our opponents have gotten 3. We have scored 16 TD's while our opponents have only scored 9. We have scored 9 FG while our opponents have only scored 7. We average 23 poitns a game while our opponents average 14. We have punted 26 times while our opponents have punted 28.
The thing that stands out most are a few stats on each side that are just plan BAD. The only thing is the D has shown improvement in over all play and holding in the redzone. However on the O side of things, rushing is up and down, passing is up and down and the RedZone has been bad all year thus far. Hope CLM fixed this in his off week. Will be fun to compare the stats of the second half of the year to the first half.
