Some horrible deja vu for Marshall football program

    36 years ago (Nov. 14, 1970) most of the Marshall football team died in a tragic plane crash. Many people probably are aware of the movie that will come out chronicling the tragedy ("We Are Marshall"). A total of 37 players and 5 coaches perished. They were travelling back from a game vs. East Carolina.

    Friday night, a flight carrying the Marshall football team had to be evacuated after smoke was reported in an engine. Everyone was ok. The plane was carrying the team in preparation for a game vs. East Carolina this weekend.

    Thats freaky. Although in todays world I wonder if the moive producers PAID the school to release this just to drum up intrest in the movie
