    Preseason arrests, uncertainty at quarterback, two killer nonconference games (Oregon, at West Virginia), a trip to Tuscaloosa and the odds that the Mad Hatter's luck finally runs out make this preseason top 10 squad vulnerable to the flop. There is tons of talent, but this is the year the ball fails to bounce the right way, the opponent only sends 11 men onto the field and the clock actually runs out before LSU scores the winning touchdown.

    Even before Jordan Jefferson's arrest and Russell Shepard's suspension, this team was set up to fail. Les Miles needed a lot of breaks to fall his way to win 11 games last season, and the schedule this year is brutal.

    Thankgoodness we have a brutal team. And there is a lot more to play, so nothing is done yet.

    Honestly, with our OOC schedule, bama away, and unproven QB play, it was reasonable to think that we would lose 2 or 3 this year.

    Thank goodness CLM is not reasonable!

    I agree

    but they didn't write it like that

    LSU has been lucky

    they are not all that

    this is the year that The Hat has no Luck since he has only been winning on Luck

    Well it's fun to laugh at it now, but nobody in their right mind had this team pegged for 10-0 right now.

    Too many issues. Way too many issues. And it was indeed a brutal schedule.

    That's why Les Miles should EASILY win coach of the year.

    I think we would outscore LSU 3 or 4 times, out of 10 tries.
