First of all congrats to the team on a hard fought victory. I am a little surprised at the dispair on some of the LSU boards. I didnt think it would be the outragious blowout people were predicting before the game. UW had a lot of things going in their favor. New Coach with our defense having to prepare for the unknown. New Coach's first game. Pumped up crowd. A star QB back from injury Late game start for our guys Overall better talent than last year. Some positives i took out from this game Our offense looked pretty good without opening up the playbook too much. No wildcat shown. On the road against an improved team we still had the game putaway. Should have been 31-13. Defense played better in second half. Without their 3 down success we do actually blow them out. Was able to keep our potent offense off the field with possession and we still score 31. Defense scored some points for us. Yes their are some things to improve on but that is with every first game. I am pleased and i think we will play a little better at home this week. Would like to see us run the ball a little better and our dline get some pressure on the qb. I am soooooo glad college football is back.
