    for some "unknown reason", somali pirates released by the russians apparently die, and never reach land.

    Pirates have been subject to immediate execution throughout history. Its the way to end pirate problems.

    I agree. Same with horse rustlers. You don't see too many of them around anymore.

    Russians don't mess around. They used to cut privates off terrorists and stuff them in mouth and deliver body to doorstep. Good chance these pirates choked, as well.
