    I'm unclear on something.

If we win out then there is no conversation. If we somehow got team wide food poisoning and lost to arky then the following would be the tie breaker:

Highest bcs ranking would go to seccg unless the rankings are within 5 bcs spots, which they likely would be. In that case we would lose to arky but be ahead of bama based on the head to head qualifier.

Is the above for the seccg or is it for bcs bowls as well? If it's just for seccg then if we lost to arky we'd be out of the bcs and going to cap one?

    Is the above correct?

This is just for arguments sake. I think arky is one dimensional with a piss poor defense and an awful road identity.

I would think if we lost close to Arky, both LSU and Bama would still be ahead of Arky in the BCS polls. Bama may or may not be ahead of us, it would not matter, as everybody has lost and all we need to do is get to the SEC CG and win it.

Arkansas WILL have the worst of the computer polls in this instance.

So if that's true even a loss would not keep us out of the secccg? Even with Oregons loss and Stoops potentially bad call going for two here in a moment?

Well all this losing going on is only helping LSU being guaranteed to get to the BCS NC should we make it to the SEC CG. Not necessarily helping us to get to the SEC CG. Those are two totally different situations.

If OU loses, which I think they will with Baylor getting a game winning FG in short order, then LSU could go into the SEC CG undefeated, lose and they would be forced to select LSU vs Bama.

You could have 2 SEC teams, none of which won the SEC, facing each other in the BCS CG.

    How's that for crazy?

    It's not far fetched.

What I meant by the losing is Oregon is going to hurt our bcs numbers a little bit, and if OU loses as well then Arky moves up to three. Seems like if arky is #3 in the bcs if they somehow won next week they might not be behind us?

Alcohol might be affecting my ability to explain what I'm talking about.
