What made you into a Tiger fan?
God help me, I grew up a Tulane fan...BUT WAIT!...understand I grew up in New Orleans in the 70's, when the only exposure I had to LSU over there was an article in the TPSI, and some occasional 10:00 hilites. I was good friends with a family who had TU season tickets in the Sugar Bowl and they took me to a number of games. So it was an exposure thing. When I moved to MC in the 70's I became acquainted with many Tiger fans, and they converted me.

When and how long ya been a Tiger fan?
My first Tiger Stadium game...don't remember the year, but it was Charles Alexander, David Woodley and co. vs the Bear. Awesome. Dalton Hilliard's emergence as a Tiger a few years later (I played against him in HS) sealed the deal.

How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan?
Very....a Tiger loss ruins my week.

How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave?
Football, M&W basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf (my son attends Coach Winstead's camp next week...could it be the beginning of the grooming of a Tiger golfer?)

Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades?
I stayed in the stadium until 00:00 on the clock when we lost to Miami (OH) in a monsoon....does that qualify as loyal?

What made you into a Tiger fan?
The same people who made me. Mommy and Daddy. Mostly Dad. A normal weekend for me in the fall was packing up the camper on Friday, heading to BR that night, and staying until Sunday. My first memory of being in TS was 1982, LSU vs. FSU. I have been going to home games probably before that, and still have season tickets today.

When and how long ya been a Tiger fan?
Since the day I was born.

How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan?
Does this question really need to be answered? I spend 20 bucks a year to read and type opinions about LSU sports.

How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave?
Football, football, and more football. Baseball follows, with basketball running 3rd. Of course, being alumni as well, I want every sport to succeed.

Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades?
Like most others have said, I sat through every game in TS from 1989 thru 1994 and again for '98 and '99. I must say I enjoyed the ability to stretch out the legs back then, but I certainly don't mind being crammed in nowadays.

What made you into a Tiger fan?

My daughter moved to Gonzales, then Prairieville, outside of Baton Rouge just before the 2008 Championship year. She got hooked, and then so did I. We would watch the football games together and text back and forth during the game.

When and how long ya been a Tiger fan?

    2 seasons. Heck, I'm a late bloomer.

How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan?

About LSU football---very passionate. When my wife and I visited our daughter last Thanksgiving, one of the "Must do's" when we were there was a visit to Tiger stadium and Mike's area across the street. Very cool.

How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave?

Bleed bad considering I really disliked purple before I discovered LSU. Football initially, but I am excited about any sport I hear about when I hear the letters LSU!

Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades?

I admit that I wasn't thrilled about last season with Mr. Interception at the helm, but I am very optimistic about this year and the coming years with the talent recruited and the upgrade in the coaching staff. I also was pleasantly surprised at the number of sports that LSU excels in. LSU is really a sports power!:geauxtige

What made you into a Tiger fan?
Born to it. Dad came back from the war (WWII) and went to LSU. From the day he was a student he never missed a home game until he couldn't physically get into the stadium in the mid 90's. They made a lot of road trips to Oxford, Houston, College Station, Starkville, and Tuscaloosa. He named his son after an LSU football player. I don't remember ever not being an LSU fan.

When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? see above

How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? Well I wouldn't poison trees over it, and it only takes a few days for me to get over a loss. Unless of courses its a loss to Old Piss, The Gayturds, The Bird-tigers, The Pachyderms, The Pigs, The Idiotic Bell Ringers, or Friggin GA (not enough respect to give them a nickname) then I'm bummed until the next win.

How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave?
Only one thing can give me an excitement chill, make the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and put a tear in my eye all at the same time; the 4 notes,
    Football, Baseball, cheerleaders

Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades?
Back in the day you only had one license plate in Louisiana and it was on the back bumper. You could put anything you wanted on the front. As far back as I can remember we had a plate on the front that said 'I'm a Tiger; Win, Lose, or Draw". Dad lived it - I still do.

What made you into a Tiger fan? Listening, and I don't remember why, on Saturday night to my dad's ancient, white, plastic bedside radio. By some anomaly, we could pick up a station carrying LSU football, very clearly, up in North Carolina. The imagery of Billy CANNON, the Chinese Bandits, and the Go Team hooked me. No rational reason I am such an LSU fan, but that stuff hooked me.

When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? Much as I hate to say it, 50+ years.

How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? My LSU window sticker (I have always had one on my car, even at USNA) in late 70's got me laid in San Diego one afternoon. We had some UCSD girls in an apartment near us. One's father was an LSU grad. Beautiful girl. We started talking Tiger football, and the next thing...oh but I digress. Need I say more.

How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? Is there a sport other than football? Historically, I can't watch games live, even blow outs. I am too intense. Jumping, yelling screaming, chewing fingers to nubs. I record and sneak peaks. If we are up by 30 with less than 2 minutes I might watch the final minute. I did watch a bunch of games this past year, live.

Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? Yeah. Been years, when deployed or overseas on duty, I followed from afar, but have been pretty intense when I can be.

About the only two things I really want to do before I check out is go to NIGHT game at Tiger Stadium and eat at the Abita Springs Cafe.

What made you into a Tiger fan?
    Born that way.

When and how long ya been a Tiger fan?
I said I was born that way.. Pay attention! :yelwink2:

How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan?
Not crazy pasionate, but my family is generally afraid to call me after a loss, and I don't travel without wearing my LSU gear.

How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave?
    Mainly football.

Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades?
I was a season ticket holder in the Hallman and Dinardo years. Does that answer the question?

Dad used to take us to the games when I was a kid. We had south end zone season tickets from 1980-1988. My sister, brother and I inherited our love for lsu from dad. I'm not into basketball too much and haven't watched a game in person since shaq. Watched shaq tear down the goal in the superdome aginst notre dame. That was cool. I never miss a football game and my six year old has watched every game with me all decked out in p&g. Some of his first words were goooo tigeeerrrsss! The family tradition will carry on.

Born to it. Both parents and both older brothers are all alums, being cheering for the Tigers and watching games in Tiger Stadium literally since before I can remember (I'm told I was less than a year old at my first game).
    See above.
Just past rational, just short of insane.
All; but if push comes to shove, football trumps all others combined.
Absolutely. Can't even think of any other way to be. What would be the point?
