Tell me watcha got. What made you into a Tiger fan? When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades?
What made you into a Tiger fan? Some friends were playing NCAA on ps2 one day and I didnt know what team to pick. (never been a football fan) I picked LSU because I am from La, was pretty good at playing with them. That kinda got me intrested in how good they were in real life. Now I'm obsessed. When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? 2002 How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? I have a room dedicated, after any kind of LSU loss I mope around for a week until the next win. If you were to give me a number I could tell you who it was, where most are from. I have a bengal print tribal tatoo on my arm. I made a deal with my wife for my first born to be first seen in a LSU onesie before anything girly. I have gone to a Razorback/ULM game with my p&g and took critcism for 4hrs including walking through the heart of piggie tailgating without flinching. I laugh at most "football" fans b/c i know more about their team/stats than they do. Our football team is not coached by Lame Kitten. Everyone I know knows I'm hardcore. I frequent Tiger forums daily One of the greatest days of my life was opening weekend for baseball this year, when I caught a baseball game and the Auburn basketball game all in 1 day. Can never have too much P&G. How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? Football, Basketball-mens and womens, Baseball, have watched gymnastics several times and felt the blood pumping Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? I have only been a fan since 2002, I dont know what a down year is
Tell me watcha got. What made you into a Tiger fan? Moved to Lafayette in the mid 90's and my uncle (LSU grad and huge fan) detested USL and told me I needed to know about true Louisiana sports. When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? Since I was 9 or 10, I don't remember too much back then How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? I keep up with more now than I used to, since I have more time. I haven't missed a game on the radio or t.v./ppv since I quit my last job. I live in MS now, so I hear more about Miss sports until I log onto my safe haven at TF! I try my best to keep up with all football going-ons. I have the Golden Band from Tigerland on my iPod, along with LSU Tailgate Party, Geaux Tigers Beat Bama, and LSU Boys. Chinese Bandits is my message tone. I guess I'm kind of eat up with it. But I won't lie, I don't keep up too much with records and stats How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? Football but am coming around to basketball. Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? I have yelled at the T.V. alot in the past, but will never stray from the purple and gold. :LSU231::thumb:
What made you into a Tiger fan? I grew up in Houma, so I just started to like them when I was young, and that is all I have ever been. When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? I have been a  fan since I can remember, I have T-shirts that have the 1991 College World Series Championship game. My children are  fans, ( and they grew up in Mississippi) Both of my children married  fans and of course Brody is a  fan. Brody will learn to hate the teams that I hate, and it is really funny, Brody will hardly sit and watch cartoons or anything on tv, but if you put a football game on, he will sit and watch it for hours. He loves the Tigers. How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? I am probably one of the biggest  fans around. I have a :lsup:/ computer room. It has a wall to wall, ceiling to floor bookcase that displays all of my  stuff. It is painted purple and gold, I have stuff all over the walls, I have stuff hanging, you name it and I really probably have it. I also have  stuff in our camper, that way when we go camping I have it to hang on the awning. I wear purple and gold every day of my life, I probably have 100 or more T-shirts, sheatshirts, jackets, sweat suits, jackets, and other stuff like that. I think I have posted pictures of my  room on here before, but it has been a while. How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? I will watch anything . Football is my favorite, followed by baseball. But I will watch anything, I just love to watch college sports. Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? Yep, I have said it before on this board that a true fan is a fan. A true fan will always wear his or her colors, no matter what. I might not be a happy fan sometimes, but I am ALWAYS a fan. People who know me will say that.
Tell me watcha got. we're telling. now you tell! What made you into a Tiger fan? i moved to br in the early 80's. grew up a sports fan so i instantly fell in love with the team for my adopted home. i loved the fanbase for lsu. the loyalty and the intensity! (and br/nola is still home in my heart.) When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? since the early 80's. How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? i consider myself pretty passionate. my office is an lsu collectors room. i drove in for all of the home football games last year (from oklahoma) except for one and that was because i had surgery just 4 days before the game. and it still crossed my mind to drive down. if that game had been moved to dallas as had been considered, i definitely would have gone despite the surgery. i even had the trip to dallas planned. (good drugs seem to make a fan think almost anything is possible for seeing their team.) i have my season tix for football this year and am "in negotiations" now on how many home games i will make. my goal is all seven. How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? crave? baseball and football. i like all other sports, but baseball and football are my "must haves". Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? i became a fan in the 80's. what does that tell you?
What made you into a Tiger fan? my ole man took me to my 1st game back in '86. Season opener vs. ATM (one month shy of my 8th birthday). Still remember lots of details about that day like it was yesterday. I was hooked immediately. When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? Sept. 13, 1986. Prolly watched a few games on TV with my dad before that, but that 1st experience of Death Valley is what did it for me. How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? 1998, we start off 3-0 and in the top 10. I brought my girlfriend to the UGA (her 1st LSU game ever) game the next week. We lose that game by 1. Then proceed to lose 6 of the last 7 games that year. Bama made a big comeback in the final 2 minutes in Death Valley to beat us. I dumped her the next morning absolutely certain that she was the bad luck polluting the team. How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave? I schedule my entire life around LSUs football schedule. My 4 year-old's birthday is in November. He has to wait until a bye week for his party (not sure why the wife never just schedules it for a Sunday), because i'm not gonna miss a game. Specially not Bama which usually is around the same time as his B-Day. Baseball is just as big, but rarely televised, and difficult for me to attend as often as I'd like. I pull for LSU in all sports, just not a very big fan of the sports themselves, so I don't watch/listen to those events. Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? Sat in that Stadium through Archer/Hallman/DiNardo years. Stayed until the very end of the Houston game in '99 hoping someone would assassinate DiNardo on the field after the game. 100+ years of football at LSU, and only DiNardo was able to swing an 8 game losing streak. Thanks Gerry!
What made you into a Tiger fan? From Bayou Vista LA always followed Dalton Hilliard as a young kid.....I went to Berwick had some older friends who went to school with Dalton. When and how long ya been a Tiger fan? since 1982 Dalton's freshman year at LSU How passionate are ya, or are ya just the casual fan? Im pretty passionate about my team I have a hole in my wall from the Arkansas game this year ( I have anger issues cant stand having the game won and a last second loss like the capital one bowl loss to Iowa) How deep do ya bleed P & G, what sports do ya crave?I am a true sports fan love football, basketball, baseball, track, golf, tennis, even try to keep up with gymnastics. "How deep do I bleed" I don't describe myself well that is a better question to ask my wife ( she always says im obsessed with everything P & G the funny thing most of the time she feeds the addition:huh Have ya been loyal, even in the down decades? yes I also went thru the Archer, Hallman, and DiNardo eras. Thank goodness those years are behind us.:milesmic:
What made me a Tiger fan? My first time in Tiger Stadium was for the Earthquake game versus Auburn. I'd never seen anything like the tailgating before the game and never in my life felt the 'electricity' of the atmosphere after Fuller's catch. From that point, it was 'game on' and I've been hooked for life.
Hey...I know you. How ya been? I was a fan at birth. I think I came home in a purple dress. Yes I'm a guy but my dad got confused when my mom told him to bring the "purple outfit" and he grabbed the dress instead of the "boy suit" I had a Tommy Casanova jersey I wore day and night that my uncle gave me for Christmas when I was 4. If I remember correctly my first football game was against Tennessee in '72. Like acemic I'm pretty passionate. I scream at the TV and I woke up the family a few years ago when the basketball team lost a 35 point lead to Villanova and I punched the wall, knocking down a painting. Ask gotboost? about our going to the Auburn basketball game with my arm all wrapped up from elbow surgery just 3 days before. I'm also a football game marshal and can't always keep my emotions in check at games. I've been to nearly every football home game since 2002 (I get paid to watch the game :tigereye: ) and had season tickets for basketball last season. I was at the regionals for the 86 basketball season when we beat Purdue and Memphis State the year we went to the Final 4. I try to make a few baseball games every year and will probably hit a regional game or two this season. might even sneak off to Omaha if I can get out of work. I follow football, basketball and baseball mostly with the 1st two about equal on my list.
