I can't agree with this. How in the wide wide world of sports does a guy who was an offensive lineman under bo shembeckler, coached o line under the same guy, then coach o line until he gets a HC job, come out running 75% gimmick formations, like the pistol and 5 wide spread? That just doesn't make any sense.
Seems to make sense in this day and age... the guys Offense gets progressively worse over the last two years, no light at the end of tunnel per say with TOs and execution and penalty issues... and he gets a raise every year, while the rest of the edu depts get slashed and professors laid off. Only in America.
Hence what you get when you get a spread guy to run a mish mash. No rhythm, no identity. Its clearly not Crowtons offense though. Look back at LaTech, BYU, etc.
When I also look at Les' golden 7-year, $4M/yr contract I just have to ask this. Does anyone know whether this is standard business practice in other big college programs, or is LSU the only school dumb enough to structure contracts like this? Relatively low base salaries with loaded incentives seems like a much smarter way to go. How would anybody else here like to get hired for a job with automatic pay hikes every year and a plush base salary with no regard for actual performance?
ok i am confused, so you are saying it's crowton's offense, but Miles is calling the plays from said offense? that actually makes sense.
See our current Senate and Reps for this... it's becoming the lazy american way, and because of the ever more popular PC atmosphere we're in these days, you're a communist if you speak out against the mediocrity of anything... the state of LSU football is no different.
its just us. outside of iowa who signed ferentz to 2043. doesnt les get a rollover for every 8+ winning season? we are in a perpetual max buyout with him i believe. although i dont want les fired. he just needs to get his **** in order. in a hurry.
I concur... but if all he continues to do is make excuses while the play stays the same, then soemthing has to give. Not saying it must be Miles who goes... but somewhere something is wrong and it needs to be corrected with a quickness.
