Nobody seems to remember when his spartan players found out DURING the game (on national tv) that he was leaving after he was telling them he was staying (sounds like saban), then they quit on his ass in the middle of the game. I had forgotten about Michigan State. Louisville? He left that program in better shape than he found it if I recall correctly. (According to the staff hired after Petrino left UL, he left that program in total disarray. I wonder if he's done the same in Fayetteville. I don't think the 2012 season answers that question.) As to his departure from Weber State? With the chance to coach a team, as HC, into a BCS game and possibly more? I don't know if there are many coaches that would not have made the same move. It certainly isn't pretty, but I can see a coach thinking along those lines.
It seems that some may not question the integrity of a man who took a phone call accepting a coaching position at another school during the f'n bowl game but i shall. he is indeed a slinky bastid. not on the level of some in the sec , but a slinky bastd nonetheless.
