We do all have to start out somewhere, I think what makes a coach a profession is one that has a good mind for strategy and the patience to study Offenses and Defenses to a point where he can counter other teams schemes by adjusting where needed ( Foresight ) and knowing what the other team is trying to accomplish. A coach that can put together a balance between defense and Offense to work like a well oiled machine,to disrupt the other teams plan, that's just my definition.
I am like you but I think now is the time to start, The Quarterback better be worried about the the strong linebacker, because he gonna pass rush the quarterback most of the time.
You guys have it all wrong. Miles and Crowton have just been going extremely vanilla on offense so we can have the upper hand when we play Tulane. That's the game when we'll finally see Shepard's first pass, and JJ hitting his receivers in stride downfield. I know that everyone thought we just didn't want to tip our hand to Florida, but even Florida thought that. So why would we play right into their game plan of not knowing what plays we were going to run? See, no one thinks that were going to suddenly open it up against the Green Wave, including the Green Wave. Man, we are going to stomp them and everyone will suddenly feel better about the offense. Just wait.
Why are you worried about the Green Wave, granted we want to beat them and I have faith that we will. All games are a major concern, (are should be), especially SEC games. I would like us to win them all from hereon out. Open up the cage and let the Tigers out, no holding back.:tigereye:
