The coaches also know the kids abilities way better than the fans in the stands. The coaches know what is going on, spend a hell of alot more time trying to fix it than we do talking about it. They will find a fix within the confines of the players abilities. Maybe we dont have the ability to do some of the things better that we see.

I used to think that but I've learned that some here know a lot more than most coaches.:)

As a fan it just seems so damn obvious sometimes. But it isnt all that easy otherwise we'd all have 4 mil a yr jobs and the best view of all the LSU games.

I just hope these 2 weeks add up to a good game against au and an improved look on the offensive side.

Well I will say this...coaches do sometimes know some things we don't know about certain players, plays, etc. They're the coaches, we don't see these guys in practice. And many people that aren't coaches don't know $hit.

But I don't need to see practice or know the players at this point to be able to figure out that I wouldn't call an option play against Florida inside their 10 when everyone knows that scoring chances will be few. I think all the other disasters with the way we've been running the option during games would be enough for me. And I like the option at times...but only when guys prove that they really know how to execute it.

QB should be calling out where SAM is located Strong Linebackers is usually the strongest of the Linebackers is located, usually in front of a Tight End, to stop the run and rush the passer. MIKE Middle Linebacker is the Defensive play caller he directs the LB'S and the rest of the Defense he must be versatile and WILL is the Weak Linebacker, he roams the back field drop back in coverage plus rush passer and stop the run. The QB should be worried about these guys and calling them out and please don't forget the DEFENSIVE ENDS you can drop 2 of those on the line with DEFENSIVE TACKLES the QB should recognize this because these guys are fast including Linebackers coming at you so JJ should be calling these guys out and don't for get stunts by defensive linemen, all this have to be picked up. :miles:

    Um....Yes!

I'll start naming names if you want and I'll throw two out there right off the bat!
Marty Schottenheimer and Bill Billick or whatever the ex-Ravens coach name is.
How many games did Marty win before he pulled Rich Gannon and started Elvis Grbac?
The Ravens coach was just stupid for signing Elvis Grbac, one reason he lost his job.

There are practice players and then again there are gamers.
Not every practice player is a gamer and vice versa.
There is no mold here, every individual is a person and every situation is different.

I'm not trying to change the subject or anything here just trying to show an example for your question.
I KNEW the minute Marty started Elvis over Rich Gannon that the Broncos would win.
    Plain and Simple....

It shouldn't take a genius either to figure out when teams have ten guys in the box to stop the run that you have to throw the ball or that the OL has been pretty bad all year!

Edit: How do you determine who is a professional and who isn't.
It seems to me professionals are the ones associated with professional sports, period.
