Ima go with LSU 45 - UW 17

We still have youth in the Secondary and I can't for the life of me predict them to hold all game. We go for some serious big hits/plays that burn us...

I am still wondering what happend to our O-line kind of scared to see how ZM reacts to a big hit. But I think Shep is going to have a big year so I expect to see some deeper passes in this game. 41 - 14

I think that both teams are much better than showed in their first games.

Washington has two very good receivers and a top quarterback. Their tall tight-end really scares me. A lot of us were talking enviously about their coaching staff after the last game we played them which was much too close for comfort. Their new defensive coordinator knows LSU, is a very good DC and is well paid which only shows how serious Washington is at building a top football power. They will be sky high for this game. They are going to throw everything they have at us including having their own tiger at practice.

LSU's defense was very good the first part of game one. It will need to be very good the entire game against Washington. I don't think that Washington will be able to run against LSU and probably won't try much --- just enough to keep us honest --- but we will need to put a lot of pressure on their quarterback. LSU should be able to run against Washington and I think we will elect to grind it out to keep our defense fresh and the opposite of Washington, just throw enough to keep the Washington's defense honest.

I'm not big on point predictions, but in the spirit of this thread, here goes... If the breaks are even, LSU wins by something like 38 to 24 with at least one score coming from special teams or defense from both teams.

So you think they will score more against the Chief than they did against San Diego? I know our secondary is showing some holes but damn! What you guys think of Auburns chances against the cow bells? I have Auburn losing that game as well

How do we have "holes" in our secondary? Eric Reid, the best safety in the country, misplayed one pass that led to a big play, and now we're suddenly vulnerable against the pass? Tough crowd.

yea, he did it twice in one game as if the 80 yard td wasn't a wake up call.

Also, freshman out there we have. Unproven they are.

    ESPN's Kevin Gemmell predicts:

    LSU 28, Washington 17

he's a West Coast guy, he went to college in California (Santa Clara University) and from 2004-2011 he was a sportswriter for The San Diego Union-Tribune, where he was the beat reporter for SDSU sports (the team UW played last week)
