Ok...I was at the game so I didn't see close-ups, body language, JJ's grimmace face, etc...but how did it appear on TV? Did the players look pissed, confused, etc?

That's exactly his point. Complacency is an awful thing, and even 13-0 teams are susceptible to it. It's like Rocky 3 when Rocky is jet-setting around the world as the champ, doing product endorsements, "training" in a posh gym for the cameras, while Clubber Lang is training in a hellhole like a madman, intent on taking what's his.

You have to give credit where it is due and that is the 'Bama D. They performed lights out. The constant pressure on JJ was telling. At 'Bama, J Lee threw 2 INTs and looked scared and JJ saved us. If JJ could not do anything we did not have a chance. Les and LSU tried everything, nothing worked against that D. With that pressure (blame our O-line again), Drew Brees would look mediocre. I just wished the game stayed close so that at least we get the AP title! Today I saw LSU #1 next season! Most of our D will be back along with a better QB. There is hope.

They looked shell-shocked, starting with Les.

the LSU players were all handsome and well-groomed. As for body language, facial expressions, etc...the LSU players looked great...movie stars couldn't have done better.

Uhhhh Sorry they did not try everything!! They did not try Lee. would he have been succesfull? Maybe not, but he earned the right to see, try something different, create a spark. Hell throw the ball down the field more than 3 times!! 1-3 on passes down the field, one of wich just missed beckham's hands and would have been a TD, one completed for 19 yars(20%) of lsu's total offense, and another just about 1 yeard to far out in front of beckham again would have been a td. So why not try something different??

JJ was pissed at Spencer Ware when he did not miraculously see, through the back of his helmet, the what the hell are you doing shovel pass that went right into the Alabama linebacker's hands.

He missed it because he got hit as he was throwing. He had heavy pressure on every single down.

Clearly Spencer should have been more aware. JJ has used the shovel pass with great success over his LSU career. I think he averages about 0 per season.
