With the ever likely event that LSU Bama & Ark are sitting 1, 2, & 3, what does a loss to Ark mean for LSU now? I think we win, but even as good as this LSU team is, this game is the only game that old Miles hasn't shake'd off!!!!! I know some BCS guru's might be able to figure it out, though I figured the best hopes for LSU all around was Oregon to win out.......
If we lose now we will not likely play for the National Championship. We "need" to win by three or less; same with the Conference Championship to keep the SEC well-represented come Bowl Season. Talk about a dream season for the Conference! Georgia should have played beaten Boise such that they would now be in the Top 10; maybe we could have had the top 4 positions... The media is PRAYING Arkansas beat us, they want the top three teams in the country, in a 3 way tie, all being from not only the same conference, but same division! We will crush Arkansas, and I think if Va Tech smashes Clemson, we see Va Tech in the BCS Championship. My Thoughts Right Now 1. LSU 2. Bama 3. Arkansas 4. Va Tech 5. Oklahoma St
Getting better? We've been consistently good all season. I'm hoping our depth or strength training will be the difference for the remainder of the season.
I see your point, but disagree. With all of us having one loss, our wins are still much more impressive than Bamas, Arkansas, OKST, Va Tech, wether we rematch, Arky or Bama, we still go. At this point, unless LSU loses the next 2, you can't hold them out. LSU has done more than anybody this year to prove they are one of the best 2 teams in the country! Hands down, no questions asked. A BCS Title game without them in it, would just be "empty" I think the nation agrees. We are the only team who has taken care of business so far
