    #14 Caleb Lewis, preferred walk-on.
His tape is impressive... Not the biggest cannon but the accuracy is there... Nice touch on many of his passes... Coach's son... A beast in academics.

Can't be worse than what is already being put on the field...

Who was the walk-on that was on the sidelines in New Orleans, I want to say he was a BTR kid and had been offered by smaller schools, very smart, normal size, but NEVER got to play..........on that night EVERY QB on that team should have gotten a chance, regardless of how he got to LSU.

I just wonder if Miles would have played Baker Mayfield as a QB walk-on, I know someone else that would have in a heartbeat.

I'm no expert, but he looks better than either LSU QB I've seen the past 2 years.

The fact that he is that smart makes up for the lack of physical ability. Looks like he has enough physical ability, but he isn't what Les wants. Unfortunately I bet he would be much better that our 1 and 2.

Harris had 2 games where he had an abysmal completion percentage, low 40's. And Les didn't yank him.

Can he turn around and pitch it to Fournette?

i agree! why not go for a smart qb with decent ability? man, as excited as i was for harris during the first half of the year, he had a meltdown during the second half. that just should not happen. ccc qb mentoring has a lot to be desired. and we may be addicted to athletic qbs who are mentally soft (both smartswise and in handling pressure).

Since Bama Harris collapsed. He did set the LSU record for consecutive completions not long before that. The meltdown was real.
