Yet when rebels want independence or want to overthrow their dictator leader, we are all on-board for that mess....
That is one reason democracy never works. It becomes mob rule and leads to chaos. That is what the south did in 1860, was that right? We are not a democracy but a representative republic. Be careful what you ask for.
But Crimea isn't asking to enslave people. It is simply asking to be apart of Russia. Sweet analogy bro.
LOL umm no.. Wanting to be apart of a country is not the same as starting a civil war/voting for slavery....
Your knowledge of history is as poor as you understanding of current affairs. The south withdrew from the union period. Was it to preserve slavery yes but they didn't start a war. The union did AFTER trying to entice the south back. The south didn't attack the union sport...the union went south to enforce the constitution. Had the north, England and France acted as you think Ukraine and the west should and acknowledged the popular will of the Confederacy we would be living in a different country.
SO when did I say the south started a war??? You can't throw out hypothetical s and the lash out at me when I do. At any rate, you still cannot tell me what bad things will happen b/c Crimea is now apart of Russia.... So you are OK with going to war over Ukraine????
There are laws that were broken. There was a treaty that was broken. People were not given an option to vote to stay in the Ukraine. Voters were intimidated by a occupying and threatening army. Ukrainian Crimeans boycotted the election because it was fraudulent. This in NOT how democracy works anywhere, except in the Soviet Un . . . I mean, Russia. Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California were once part of Mexico, like not that long ago. Do you suppose were are going to allow San Diego to just vote to rejoin Mexico? How about South Texas? Do you remember a thing called the Civil War where it was established that no state has the right to unilaterallly secede? It would take a ratification from all of the states.
So the United States should spend its time enforcing the laws of other countries now? What about the times we decided to overthrow dictators?
I'm not answering your incessant questions. If you are trying to make a point, then make it. If I disagree I will let you know.
