I'm sorry I am unaware of what laws make women unequal? What laws oppress women?? Where are the republican ones?
This guy is no Republican, but the reaction of those here who are "Democrat" just about sums it up.. When a Republican says anything remotely true, its racist, etc. When Michelle says it, well, its just simply the truth...
I've never said anything that Obama has done was "bad" with regards to the Ukraine. I have always had the position that "WTF is even the point of getting in their shit in the 1st place??"... Further, Crimea even VOTED (you know that Democratic thing we do) to be apart of Russia. Let them figure it out. The world will not end of Russia gets an extra parcel of land. Hell, the world won't end if we pay more attention to our own country and less to others....
It's not one acute incident, but chronic, repeated missteps. Some of his gaffes seem more in line with a rookie state legislature. Here's a few: "I don’t have a bad personal relationship with Putin. When we have conversations, they’re candid, they’re blunt; oftentimes, they’re constructive. I know the press likes to focus on body language and he’s got that kind of slouch, looking like the bored kid in the back of the classroom. " Quote from Obama Pretty stupid to characterize the leader of Russia like that. "Though Mr. Obama went on to say that their interactions were often constructive, the comment infuriated Mr. Putin, according to one Russian official not authorized to be quoted by name." "Obama signed the measure into law a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the so-called Magnitsky Act, which blacklists Russian officials allegedly implicated in the prison death of lawyer Sergei Magnitsky. The Russian foreign ministry issued a statement minutes after Obama formally signed the legislation in the Oval Office, saying the move amounted to “open meddling” in its internal affairs and was “a blind and dangerous position.” Of course, turning the US Olympic delegation into a gay pride parade was in his administrations typical bad taste. Then, of course, relentlessly spinning the Sochi olympics as dangerous, 1st time a US Pres, 1st lady, or VP did not attend the opening ceremony….Basically, he tried his best to crap on Putin's baby. The hard reality for Obama supporters is that if GWB were still in office, our relationship with Russia would be much better, Putin would not have invaded the Crimea, and the Olympics opening night coverage would not have started with 30 minutes of Obama talking about politics.
So he pisses off Putin by being candid and blunt. Sounds like he's got it under control, to me. Unlike his predecessor, he keeps Putin at arms length. Doesn't call him "my friend Vladimir". Doesn't kiss his ass. So Obama hold Putin's feet to the fire for civil rights abuses and undemocratic behavior and you think this makes him weak? You think that is a misstep? Are you agreeing with Putin? You are big Putin fan, I can see. And you're trying really hard to find something that constitutes a "misstep". But it just shows that Obama has been very firm with Putin. Much more so than Bush. This is a laughable fantasy.
Let's see, senate republican opposition of the Lily Ledbetter act, every single anti abortion pork attached to shit like farm bills, not to mention all the planned parenthood and attacks on funding to services for women. Those are just a few examples, there are plenty more. Pretty much all of them. At least all of the ones who don't want to get primaried. Then you got these dudes who think Jesus himself created an army of 300 Spartans to guard the Thermopylae pass in the uterus, fighting off the Persian rapist sperm.
