I attacked you statement, not you. You asked for examples and I've already given them, so I asked if there was something you didn't understand. You respond with "Why do you think you are smarter than Russia". There is no answer for it. I haven't claimed to be "smarter than the Soviet Union". It was a non-response and what we call a stupid question.

Strike One. No example of NATO being "10 steps behind on everything".

Proactive? How about quickly adding the former Warsaw Pact nations to NATO? Russia is still upset about that. Ten steps behind? After we were attacked on 9/11 NATO went to Afghanistan with us and are still there with us. NATO took the lead in providing air support for the Libyan Revolution. NATO went to war to end the conflicts in Bosnia and Kosovo.

    WTF are you talking about?

Well again, claiming Russia is going to collapse under sanctions is groundless. You haven't offered anything other than your opinion. You can claim whatever you want, but I see no way you or anyone else can back those statements up. If you can, do it.

Do I really have to point out that the US takes the lead on most all global conflicts?

Why do we have to be that? No body in their right mind would fuck with us. This idea we need bases in every country is insane. We are well past that shit.

I believe it is time we focus more on our own affairs.

I have never said that Russia is going to collapse under sanctions. Stop making stuff up. I don't intend to keep repeating myself for your amusement. So pay attention.

I said that Russia vulnerable to sanctions.

I pointed out that their economy is dependent on European money.

I pointed out that the Russian military is a shadow of its former self and incapable of waging large wars.

I pointed out that russia can't win an economic war with us.

I said that the Russian population is restive and unhappy and that Putin faced many internal problems.

    Better us than anyone else.

The earth has not gotten smaller. Our global reach is what makes us a global economic power.

Success in domestic and foreign affairs are not mutually exclusive. Isolating ourselves has never proven to work. We tried in WWI and again in WWII. It didn't work out. Now we are much more proactive and international in scope.

So why does there need to be an economic war over Ukraine? Or any war for that matter?
