Good article about this in todays Advocate:

"LSU is considered to be a frontrunner for Mettenberger, who is expected to enroll at the college of his choice in January and will have three years of eligibility remaining."

And if Crowton gets canned......I say we make an all out effort to get Nutt fired from Ole Mess and hire him to replace Crowton. ESPN would have a field day declaring us the craziest (and most successful) coaching staff in the world.

And that includes the 92,00 drunk coaches in the stands who had to BUY their tickets.

    :hihi:

By the way, if Mettenberger enrolls early would he be eligible for our BCS Bowl game ???

...Not that he'd start or anything.

Crowton really pissed me off today. We could have put Ole Piss away in the 1st half . 1st and goal from the one and he pitches the ball 3 straight times? Where did that come from? And then with JJ having a hot hand unlike all year, he inserts Lee and hands the ball off 3 times in a row? Even SabanFan can only take so much.

Edit: But I have to admit that offense won the game tonight.

    Yes Crowton > Chavis tonight.
    (and I repeat tonight)

The pass over the middle to Clement was the perfect call at the right time...

Yes and to think, it only took 11 games to discover it.

Right! My feelings exactly. And have we ever just tried a pass to a fullback...ever with Crowton?. We just get so damn predictable sometimes. That's always been my biggest beef with the "Wizard."

Well I am going to enjoy this Offensive "explosion" tonight for a few days. Thank God our O was on top of their game tonight at least. This one would've been ugly otherwise.
