Long story short, nobody goes to the military academies to pursue sports as a career. They are going there to be officers in the US Military. They are like Div 2 or Div 3 teams when it comes to football talent.

Wow. AF 41, Houston 20 in the early 4th Q. This is why I don't put money on football games and lost faith in predicting football games long ago. Waaaaay too unpredictable.

That can happen when you are pass happy going up against the #1 pass defense. The kids at AF are super disciplined in their play and it is showing.

I was going to mention something about how the military academy kids are more super-disciplined during their day-to-day lives by their superiors than any other school's kids are during their non-football-practice time... and also how the academies--West Point, US Naval Academy, USAF Academy--laugh at the rest of us when it comes to school pride.... nobody can mess with the US Military... they've been the undisputed #1 by far for decades when it comes to being #1 in global military dominance.
