I haven't rewatched the game yet but it seemed like in the first quarter Jefferson was confident and looked like he might be on a role but false start penalties killed the drive...

and just how many drops were there in that game? Tolliver bobbles a ball in the REDZONE and its a pick... kills a drive...

The next drive Jefferson converts a 3rd and 13 to Tolliver but it comes back on a HOLDING call.. kills a drive

I to hate the option but it went for 3 or 4 yards a few times and Jefferson had a rushing TD last week

how many receptions were dropped? the only sure handed guy we have is Randle so recievers missing catches we try to play conservative and the crowd boo's

I have stood by Miles and have always supported him, I even understand why he continues to support and stick with JJ. I have stated that unless JJ starts costing us games then Miles is right in sticking to his guns. Well JJ came very close to costing us this game, 2 crucial ints that resulted in a 14 pt swing. It's time Miles, the next time we may not get lucky.

But it's by the grace of god aka (Patrick mutha phuckin Peterson) he hasn't yet. It'll be too late by that time since no one else is getting prepared so we'll lose several weeks, minimally.

You're right they only regurgitate. I'm talking about the guys who call the game and sound as dumbfounded as we are about the offense. They don't have to regurgitate when they see it with their own eyes. This isn't even limited to them talking about LSU. You hear them talk about stuff that is relevant to what LSU is going through (not talking about LSU specifically) and mention what should be done or not be done in certain situations.

How much does Miles make, $4mil a year? And Crowton, half a million?? How much does Sean Payton make? I think if I had a job like that I'd be doing everything I could to keep it. I'd also know where that check ultimately comes from. A coach should never just bow down to the fans of his team, but he doesn't need to constantly piss them off either. We are 4-0, but we all see trouble ahead if we don't improve on offense. I hope Les will make some changes before someone a little higher up than he is will make them for him.

I'm not saying they are necessarily wrong. I'm saying they provide little value and not much of anything new or insightful. The same media talking heads all picked us to be an afterthought that would finish no better than 4th place in the SEC West.

The fact that our team is making their prognostication skills look highly suspect leaves them little options but to attack us any way they can. They couldn't possibly have been wrong about us, so if they keep the negativity level high with respect to the LSU Tigers, it validates them.

We all know our passing game sucks.

We might unknowingly be witnessing the most improbable season of LSU football ever. What if we keep winning despite having a ridiculously woeful passing game all the way to the BCS game?

The "football experts" on the tube would be absolutely unglued.

I love Miles and continue to support him but I blame him for not giving Lee a chance because he is stubborn.

as does everyone who has ever watched this team play. It doesn't take Vince Lombardi to figure out 3 straight games under 100 yards passing isn't a good thing. I mean, maybe if Tommy Frazier was our quarterback, but he isn't. Ours cannot even run the option.

You know, since we have started running the option i have seen it work twice, please correct me if i am wrong here, i have slept since. Matt Flynn to Keiland Williams against Virginia Tech, and Jarrett Lee to Charles Scott against Alabama last season. (am i remembering that right? wasn't a td but it was about a 25 yard gain up the right sideline)

The thing is, if i were Les, i would go to Jordan and say "kid, you have been having a rough go, we respect you, we love you, you are an LSU Tiger. You need to have a seat and collect yourself, you gotta keep working like you do in practice to strive to get better, because at some point, your number will be called again. We just need a spark, and it's 12's turn."

Is Jarrett Lee the answer? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows. Alot of people want to point to the Louisiana Tech game last year. Put yourself in his shoes. You have been boo'd your freshman year, and treated worse than any other quarterback in LSU history other than Jaime Howard. How nervous was this kid. So he works, he fights, and last night when came in the game, that crowd erupted. So, in his head is he saying to himself, "screw you guys, you would shank me if i threw a pick." or does he think to himself, "man this is my chance to win them over, and get my job back."

Regardless, we are 4-0, i love my Tigers, i will never boo any of them, and even if we go 0-12, my purple will still fly. I really believe from what i have seen with this defense, and special teams, and weapons on offense, that we are 1 player away from being a legit contender.

By the way, Stevan Ridley, you are the man. You don't get nearly enough props, but you ran like a damn soldier last night. Kudos to you.
