So yes I know I get flamed around here for being an "eternal glass half full" or what is referred to as a sunshine pumper.
But someone help me understand something. So I was in Arkansas this weekend with my buddy went to the Bama Arky game. So I just got back and read our board and the other one.

So let me make sure I understand
LSU is 4-0, has one of the best defenses in the nation, one that is very young but just a blast to watch. Probably the best player in the nation, great special teams and is running the ball pretty well.

Yet Les Miles is an utter idiot and needs to be fired immediatly......
So he gets NO credit for recruiting this defense, RB's, the way the are playing, special teams etc.

Yes I agree Jefferson although a nice kid is the worst QB I have ever seen at LSU. Its one player that is really hurting this team.

I think I understand anything good = Not Miles, Anything Bad = all Miles.. Got it....

you fail to realize why some are disenchanted. how can the coaching staff continue to do the same ineffective things on offense and be so damned stubborn about it? it's more than frustrating. i am one of the biggest miles and JJ apologists that there is, but even i'm starting to have enough.

    Duh.

He also gets no credit for hiring Chavis but gets blasted about Crowton. Glad you were paying attention.

Understand this: if you think LSU is beating Florida, Bama or Arkansas purely on defense and special teams then stay away from the meds.

Les gets the credit for Chavis and the slings and arrows for keeping Crowton. That's his job as the head coach, and that's why he gets paid very handsomely to do it.

You are right, it's NEVER happened before....Oh wait, we beat Florida 21-17 in '05 under Miles, with barely any offense...We beat Bama 16-13 in '06 under Miles, with barely any offense...Took 'em to OT when they were #1 in '08, with barely any offense. And we beat Arkansas whenever the hell we feel like.

You gotta score some points. We just need the D and special teams make sure we don't need too many to outscore the other guys. I think you have too high a regard for Florida and Bama. They are tough, to be sure, but they can be beat.

LSU had #34th offense in 05 and the #14 offense in the nation in 06. Low scoring games, great D.
