So JaMarcus Russsell looks terrible...

I think JR signed a six year $60 million plus contract with over thirty million guaranteed. By season's end that thirty million guarantee will have been paid. It will be interesting, with the Rumors that Davis is strapped for cash, if they will cut him loose.


It was reported that for the first time this season JR came in early to study film. Apparently so because in a press conference the following day, JR did admit to some mistakes.

 

They were all over this yesterday on NFL radio. Supposedly JR got some PR advice. After his turd in the punch bowl claim that it "wasnt my fault" someone finally convinced him he better start taking responsibility. We'll see how long it lasts. He's got a long way to go to earn the respect of his teammates and coaching staff.

 

I saw the interview where this quote is from, it was tough to watch that. Despite the Bama Boy chain, I felt bad for him as I listened. (sniff sniff )

 

heading into yesterday he was only the second qb in nfl history to have a qb rating below 50 and less than 50% completion percentage.

ryan leaf was the other one.

you dont last long in the nfl if you suck. he will get this year and that will be it if he shows no effort.

what did leaf start? 15 games or something before they pulled the plug on him. this isnt the nba.

 

i think it would be cool if he ended up in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers goes down with an injury (not that i would want him to get injured) and have Jamarcus back up Matt Flynn. Something that should have happened at LSU.
