i saw the dude light up nicholls and he was a man among boys. there was one run for about 36 yards in the first quarter and it was all ryan. elusive as heck, with piss-poor blocking. oh yeah, he could throw too. not bad against a team that usually overachieves at home and had this game circled on their calenders.
I've checked a couple of his youtube clips to see how he has been looking at JSU... he was running great, and he is pretty big, but I wasn't super impressed with his accuracy... yeah he had some outstanding throws that showed off his cannon and how tight a spiral he can throw, but he also had passes that looked pretty poorly thrown. But yeah, I was curious when I heard Nicholls scheduled a home game with JSU figuring that RP would sell more tickets than they usually sell, and I'm glad he gave everybody who went there to see him a good show.
I figure that the chances are that Flynn won't have solid NFL career. It's very hard to make it in the NFL. But, if he makes it past 3 years in the NFL, he has a chance of at least being a back-up QB (which is still big bucks).
Kordell Stewart on First and Ten just said he is a better QB right now than JRussell. He hadn't played a snap since '05. That's pretty bad. Skip Bayless chimed in and said what I've always said, which is Russell had one great game in his college career and it was against Notre Dame's horrible defense.
consider the athletes around him at JSU. ryan will get his shot in the NFL. hopefully he'll be able to handle it.
Man he look's pretty fly to me... The bracelet at 0:20 reminds me of something...
