i saw the video earlier. he literally melts in front of them screaming in horror while they watch unaffected.

id not advise the others see it but to each their own. something needs to wake people up so maybe this will help.

And this is the sad fact of it. Yea, they aren't actively blowing people up and committing crimes, but they are also standing by not saying anything or doing anything.

You simply cannot stand idle when people do things like this.

We have a serious combat search and rescue element over there to help prevent that, but the Jordanians are upset that it didn't help their pilot who ejected right over the ISIS seat of power. Jordan itself has a number of brand new CSAR helicopters and a special search and rescue force that may have tried to rescue the pilot but he was at the edge of their flight range and they took heavy anti-aircraft fire that forced them to return. The US may have played a part in that but details are sketchy.

I will not watch it. Years ago I made the stupid decision to watch Nick Berg's beheading. I have regretted it ever since. It did nothing to further my understanding nor change my feelings about those who commit such acts. I still occasionally have nightmares about it. That pilot suffered immeasurably....I just can't and won't watch it.

ISIS is so ideologically bankrupt, Al Qaeda has a problem with them. They are the terrorist's terrorist. They are the Oakland Raiders of the 1970's.

They are too stupid to be the Oakland Raiders. Terrorist organizations with real political goals requiring funding and support abroad have nothing to do with ISIS, they are the radical nut jobs radical nut job.

Al Qaeda broke with them when they were still AQ in Iraq. The propaganda war was starting to go against us after Abu Gharaib, when AQ in Iraq started beheading captives. Support for AQ then tanked, money sources started drying up and bin Ladin ordered AQI to stop that shit, but they refused and broke away, now they are ISIS.

Still brainless, they are fighting a three-front war with no seaport, no allies, no economy, and the Superpower raining bombs on them, so what do they do . . . they kill every American, European, Asian that they can get their hands on and other Muslims by the hundreds, and are actually alienating muslim nations into the fight against them. They are in a long fight that they cannot win which is right where we want them. Time makes them weaker and they know it well.

i understand what you are saying, but still that is a not a strategy to me, i dont think Obama has a strategy related to this. You have insufficient ground armies and an air campaign that is showing mixed results. its time to do something different and maybe thats coming next, but i dont see it right now.
