The more I read about Thomas the more I like him. He may not end up as a QB but I think he will be given the chance and I like his chances! When Meyer and Carroll both ask themselves why they arent recruiting this QB that tells you something.
True, no offer. You have to consider the timing (visit was in Spring prior to Mustain's arrival) and that no answer to their question was given.....at least in this article. I suspect maybe PC saw a very talented athlete and down the line things changed or interest was lost on either or both parts. Either way, his name hasn't been on the recruiting radar for months but I'm very glad to see he found a home.
I saw his commitment live on TV Sunday night. He seems like a nice kid. I agree with PP, he is pretty thin looking. With some working out and maturing, he looks like he could add a lot of muscle and weight, and he'd look more like a football player. He looks more like a wide out, if he doesn't fill in. Course after JR, all of our QB's look small to me now. :geauxtige
I have no link...but surely you guys trust me by now...:hihi: . I was reading...yes, fishhead can read...the Times Pic today, and it can be quoted as saying that he held offers from both USC...(not South Carolina), and UF. Take it for what it's worth, but you can read it yourself in the Times Picayune, Tuesday, August 20th.
Not true. Vball is good friends with a recruiting insider with USC, believe me, he had no offer. He may have said that or the press may have misrepresented a comment made by PC but he had no offer. :thumb:
Well I for one am going to take a high school kids word over an insider connected to the program. :yelwink2: Not to mention the fact that if the media prints it it must be true.
