So I'm still worried about us being outcoached by Bama

I think LSU has a chance for the first time in forever because we can actually score. Does that mean we'll win the game?? Even if we had blown the doors off of Auburn, the game is still being played in Tuscaloosa so Bama DOES have the advantage, just as we always think we're gonna win in Tiger Stadium.

But I think this whole centering the season around Bama is a bummer anyway. If they beat us, I won't be happy, but LSU still has a legitimate shot at making the playoff, so we might get another crack at them on a neutral field or in the Superdome. After last season, I've decided that I'm no longer gonna let Alabama dictate my enjoyment of LSU football.

And despite what everyone thinks, unless LSU scraps the entire offensive philosophy during the offseason, I think we have a GREAT SHOT to beat them next year.

E didn't have near the players and more importantly the experienced players and even more importantly a QB who had a full Spring, Summer and Fall practice to learn not only the new playbook but learn about his teammates. E was stymied by a patchwork OL last year too along with 1 yes just 1 true TE. You are simply wrong.

We are 8-0 with a record setting offense and E calls the plays whether it's his play or a suggested play from Brady. Think what you want but those are the facts.

BTW I have given O and E credit many times for hiring Brady if you have read many of my post.

I remember towards the end of the third quarter thinking of the same thing. Wondering if LSU's running game was going to become predictable, like the passing game was under coach water head.

But I know the coaches have 2 weeks to get things together. I don't think they will go into that game thinking that predictability isn't detrimental. Play calling will show that against the gumps.

Orgeron had a prime example of what becomes of stubborn coaching. And he loves LSU way too much to let the same thing happen to him that happened to Ole Leslie Edwina.

    Hey Nicky, We comin!!

From a personnel standpoint, what areas do you see Bama having an advantage in?

Because nothing else needs to be said. Auburn has the best DL in the conference, better than bamas and we handled them and we will handle the gumps as well.

You are usually pretty objective but you've lost your damn mind on this one and I don't care who sets the line at what. I guess a dog has never won a game outright huh.

Joe was just as good last year. This offense is ENTIRELY different. In fact, Burrow had the same amount of time to learn this new Brady system....

Bama stands in the way of our goals this year. Any loss this year will suck; Bama isn’t special in that regard. Saban is a good coach, but he can get tight and go conservative like o did this weekend. I hope it isn’t another 9-6, but if it is, I hope we have the 9.

O didnt get tight he passed and ran all over Auburn. We took what they gave us. You dont pass just to impress the fans you pass to win and run to win if that is what your opponent gives you. CEH had a banner day. Helped us win and kept our D fresh.
