That's a good question that I don't have an answer for. All I've read is that the field supposedly drains well.
We’ve had a fall drought down here just like 2016 ... The field hasn’t seen an inch of rain yet and it’s drinking it up really really well ... They watch it continuously ... I was told on Monday they will do nothing unless a monsoon was coming to dump 2+ inches right before the game ... Total rainfall this week less than 1 inch so far Result: PERFECT CONDITIONS TOMORROW
Ramah, thanks for your answer. I presume then that they do have a tarp to cover the field when they want to.
The groundskeepers have not watered this week and measured 1.25 inches rain by 7:30 PM tonight and will likely decide not to cover the field as forecast likely results in about 2 in and a dry field can take that ... and more ... Field gonna be fine tomorrow
I'm slightly late on this train, but I'm going to go with a tentative Choo Choo. We have a good shot of doing it.
