Seriously?? We were not getting any pressure on Murray what so ever, and because of that he picked us apart......so why not on the last georgia drive do alot of stunting and blitzing??? We were getting torched and picked apart, and missing assighnments anyway. Why not take a chance instead of sitting back and allowing them to march right down the field.....and thank God that Gurley had to leave the game, because with him in there this game would not even have been close at the end. Our front 7 have NO clue of how to get off of blocks.....they are comming up getting their guy extended but no getting off of the blocks.
When UGA had it first and goal at the 4 and had to settle for a FG, Welter came in on 3rd down, and, I believe, made the stop. It was huge at that point. I may be wrong about that b/c I saw it from straight down the line, but that's what I thought from the stands. I also saw Welter and Barrow in on a lot of tackles, and I am talking ones that DEs and corners should have been making as initial stops. I think Welter finished w/a team high tackles - not that that is a good sign, but at least he was tackling. He's not the fastest, or most athletic, hence, I described him as solid. I think Kwon is our best overall, at least imo.
Welter was getting his shit pushed in on many plays, Barrow doesnt seem to have the smarts to know where to go or he is choosing the wrong gaps on defense. I think that was Allen and Freak on that play you mentioned.
LOL....really? #1 the "freak" has become...average he has not lived up to the hype. #2 welter and Barrow have been beyond dissapointing, as for welter, I know the kid and his family, good people but he is not a starting middle LB for a highly rated school, he is only in there because he knows the defense's and to make the calls, talent wise he is way behind some of the other guys on staff, he will make alot of tackles, but the majority of them being 4 & 5 yards down the field, that is not accepltable we have to be able to fill the gaps.

Well, until somebody steps up that can read an offense better, Welter has value to the coaches because someone has to make those calls. Les has said so.

I think it's more about mental agility than mental capacity. In this case, it is more important to spell CAT quickly that to spell it correctly.
