I am sure I am overreacting here, but I just assume we throw in all new personnel. Couldn't be worse. I mean, Kwon is our best player on D and he isn't even the freaking starter. I dunno, either our recruiting is a bust or the coaches see something in this gaggle fuck we don't.
Is it coaching, is it talent, is it the scheme? A combination of all three? Quite frankly, I'm willing to cut Chavis some slack. I don't care who you are, it is a huge task to replace the number of guys on defense that left from last year. Maybe I'm wearing the purple and gold colored glasses; I really believe that we'll see improvement from this unit sooner rather than later. I have nothing to base that on except for faith in the coaching staff and the fact that these guys have to want to improve.
Beckwith at MLB. Please dear Lord we need an athletic thumper out on that field to make people pay. That's the starting point. True freshman or not. We must play him from here on out. He'll make mistakes. I don't care. Welter can't be on anything but special teams from here on out. I have no answers at DE. Rasco is useless. The only time we heard his name was for a 15 yard penalty. I still think Hunter will be good eventually, he is just still raw. Allen is only for depth. Unfortunately, the leaders of this defense are supposed to be Barrow and Loston, they are two of the worst players on this defense. I don't think either made a significant play all game long, unless you count Loston accidentally hurting Gurley on the sideline. Tre White is going to be good, again inexperienced. I think it's time Rashard Robinson gets significant PT as well. I would seriously consider benching Loston if things don't pick up.
The defensive back coach has his work cut out for him. I can't remember seeing so many wide open receivers for Touchdowns. Loston did not look like a senior. Chief needs to go find a pass rush somewhere, too.
Why the hell is Steve Ensminger our TE coach? These guys are underperforming. And I know Cam Cameron wants to get the TE involved in this offense.
he did not, he had better players coached by Cooper. He sucks as a DB coach. Its just like our new receiver coach Adam Henry, look at the receivers this year.
