OK tiga i have seen the error of my ways. As for information how about Bama getting a committment from WR Melvin Ray last night out of the blue. Was thought to be between UF or the Noles. Wasn't even on the radar sceen. Looks like Saban hasn't forgot how to recruit.:)

He's a good receiver, but FSU told him they couldn't take him until later because they were waiting on a couple of other guys.

Guess it works out well for both schools.

Very impressive indeed. I really thought he would get a lot of competition from Auburn, but not so far. I don't understand why Auburn has such a hard time recruiting in Alabama. They did not do well last year, and from the looks of it they are not doing well this year.

Saban is a great recruiter and will have highly ranked classes at Bama. On the field, he'll win 8-10 games on a regular basis with an occasional year of 11wins or more (depending on how long he stays at Bama). But it really gets interesting at the Iron Bowl. Saban was 2-3 against Tubby while at LSU. The question is whether the gumps will accept losing to Auburn more often than not. Will Saban be ready to bolt for the Big 10 or West Virginia after a 10-2 regular season when he gets hung in effigy because he lost to Auburn?

Because the in state guys know enough about that nasty institution to stay away. The out of state guys are very easily tricked. :)
